Request details

edit

Who are the involved parties?

edit

User:Arnabdas and User:Skoppensboer.

What's going on?

edit

Arnabdas wishes to include sourced criticism by Bill O'Reilly of Bill Moyers. Skoppensboer argues that O'Reilly's criticism is non-notable and that Arnabdas's sources are unreliable.

What would you like to change about that?

edit

To include O'Reilly's criticism and Moyers responses.

Mediator notes

Please indicate your acceptance or rejection of my mediation of this case. This is my first cabal case. I believe that I will be a capable, neutral mediator. --Birdman1 talk/contribs 18:46, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please respond. In addition, please confirm that you would still like mediation. Thank you. --Birdman1 talk/contribs 18:23, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the delay, was away for a bit. I would like to have the mediation continue and if you could please make a conclusion. Skopp is not compromising. Arnabdas 20:15, 4 September 2007 (UTC
I'm glad to provide my services. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with a list of documents to which I should refer. I know that Talk:Bill Moyers is where most of the discussion is taking place, but I am aware that various User talk pages may also be involved. Thank you. --Birdman1 talk/contribs 23:51, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As being the party behind the inclusion of the statement, the only discussion I personally have engaged in is on the talk page. I am not sure about the other users personal pages, but I do know that any discussions I have had with it have been on the talk page itself. We appreciate you taking a look at this in a fair way and hopefully we can get something done. Arnabdas 15:31, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

When can you reach a decision sir? Arnabdas 15:49, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I will review the case this weekend. I have recently resumed my studies, so it has been difficult to remain active on Wikipedia. If I do not reach a decision by Sunday evening, you may request that I withdraw from the case. Thank you for your patience. (By the way, you need not call me "sir.") --Birdman1 talk/contribs 22:03, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I understand. Just was curious, thanks for your help. I call a lot of people sir, younger or older. No worries. Enjoy the weekend. Arnabdas 17:26, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey this guy Skopp is still on this page watch. It's been a while, do you know a better time frame for this to get taken care of? Arnabdas 18:50, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • This request for mediation has been phrased on the most slanted language possible. I suggest the mediator reads the talk page and disregards the one-sided "What's going on" text above.   Skopp   03:18, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I took the liberty of changing the "What's going on" text to neutral language. Please tell me if you object to my having done so. --Birdman1 talk/contribs 18:52, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have no problem with the new text in "What's going on" Arnabdas 15:41, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
