As far as a teenager running a college bordello & drug ring? Yeah, she's pretty good at manipulation. It only takes a couple of fuckups to go really wrong, though.

The whole misjudging Maya thing made sense though, because she was so desperate to get into the HOTs, and was willing to ride Tremolo for the hazing. That was pretty extreme. Only Tremolo knows her secret at that point, and how inexperienced she is. To Quinn, she was willing to go beyond what the other pledges would. Her desperation came off as willingness, which made her a good candidate. Before Lilly, there were no Blondes on the menu, so there was that added incentive, too. Maya also has a rockin hot body (despite the skin texture issues).

As far as Mona goes, she was willing to do anything with the other students (as we know from our threesome in the bathroom). Cammy was level-headed enough, and goal oriented enough, to do what needed doing, but Mona was just a party girl that couldn't do it with an older guy. No way of knowing that until it happened. Quinn handled the fallout extremely badly, though, and I think that's just panic.

Her fear of looking weak also was a big problem, and her inability to apologize to Tommy showed that. It worked out in the end.

Maya is also not really a prude, just inexperienced and traumatized by her father. She gets pretty wild pretty quickly when she's not a nervous wreck.

But with Maya, she does come off as a prude, that's why Quinn needed the video evidence of her finishing the sexual tasks: for blackmail.

Okay well... maybe not blackmail, but just to confirm they didn't cheat.... but I'm leaning towards blackmail. Because it isn't a guarantee that finishing Hell Week means she's ready to suck dick on a regular basis through a gloryhole. So some added "incentive" to ensure cooperation would be very useful.

Like the only ones that I can consider truly intelligent in this series is Lily (we don't know her academic status but seeing as she is trying to get into health care and she is also managing clientele in the drug and strip club WHILE also being in the HOTS), and Derek (Easy one, head on his shoulders and intelligent). That is all, everyone one else is not truly intelligent unless they do one thing or another. Example of what I mean, Magnar who is smart, but is not manipulative enough to play sides in broad daylight (He is doing right now because the frats are retarded as hell, anyone with a semblance of a brain can cause the frats to fight).

Quinn is not smart academically or intelligent, she just has above average skills (I mean still mantaining cover for prostitution and drugs on campus is something) and Rio, she is smart as referred by Camilla but she is pretty bad in street smarts relying on Quinn and not being covert of the profession she is doing.
